Translated from the Japanese word “house,” “Uchi” (家) is cozy and inviting, while staying sleek and elegant. This Project was inspired by the hand-crafted tradition of Japan with handmade art made from local creatives and layered materials used throughout the space. Walnut wood and ash art are the predominant woods throughout the project, with a communal table carved from a rare slab of Cuban mahogany.
